Instead of a short story or devotional this week, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to all the Christian authors out there. I have been blessed to be part of a Christian publishing family – Pelican Book Group. Through that group, I have been fortunate enough to (virtually) meet dozens of Christian authors. These authors lift up one another in prayer and cheer for each other’s new releases. This is how the Christian community should be.

As my debut novel releases this week, these authors have rallied around me – offered to share my posts and host me on their blogs. It is humbling, and I wanted to publicly say thank you.

Writing is a lot of work. Yes, we enjoy bringing our stories to life, but it takes a lot of time, dedication, and emotion. Nearly all writers love to read as well, and we realize there is no way for us to write books fast enough for our readers to read them. Because of that, there is no competition in writing Christian books. If you enjoy my writing, I’m thrilled to share other writers you would enjoy as well. From time to time, I’ll use this blog to share some of my fellow authors with you so you can learn about their work.

The authors at Pelican have shared my blog posts, re-tweeted my tweets, given me advice, bought my book and written reviews. What a blessing! I’m so thankful. I’d also like to say thank you specifically to those who are hosting me on their websites this week:

Monday: Carlene Havel’s blog: http://chavelbooks.com/news/

Tuesday: Gail Palotta’s blog: https://gailpallotta.blogspot.com/

Wednesday: Clare Revell’s blog: https://telscha.blogspot.com/

Thursday: Pelican Book Group blog: http://blog.pelicanbookgroup.com/

Friday: (release day!!) Valerie Goree’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ValerieMasseyGoree/

Each day, you’ll find a little more information about the book, read different excerpts, or read stories about me. I’d love it if you’d help me thank the blog hosts by posting a comment or liking or sharing the Facebook post. Thanks so much for your help! And thanks to the wonderful family at Pelican. I couldn’t do this without you!
